cliffhick
You'll enjoy the ride. I've done the ride from Missouri, Kansas and Colorado. Colorado being the best, riding along the Arkansas River, stopping at Gunnison Gorge. When you get to the junction of 50 and 550 take the time to run 550 to Durango and back to Montrose. http://www.roadtripamerica.com/places/million.htm
cliffhick
Not sure what time of year you plan on going. We went the first week of June and the mountains in Colorado had lots of snow. Only time that was an issue was going thru Rocky Mountain National Park. Talking about National Parks. If you plan on visiting any get the National Park Pass. It's good for a year and allows you to visit National sites without paying entrance fees. Covers you, passenger, bike. http://usparks.about.com/od/usnationalp ... passes.htm I used it when I did the Iron Butt National Parks Tour. http://www.ironbutt.com/ridecerts/getdo ... m?DocID=
