Administrators Irma Posted May 8, 2023 Administrators Share Posted May 8, 2023 Sadly we retire #7069 for Thomas Lake. Our deepest sympathies to Kim, their family and friends. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, son, expecting grandfather and dear friend Thomas Lake on May 4, 2023 at the age of 55. Loving husband of 32 years to Kim Lake and adored father to Myles Lake (Emily) and Emily Villanueva (Bryan). He will be deeply missed by his mother Eva Lake, siblings Debbie, Priscilla, Lois, Eunice, Becky, Julie, Danny and their spouses. Brother-in-law to Kelly Barrett (Scott) and Jimmy Dean. Predeceased by his father Walter Lake. Tom will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Tom belonged to the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers (Chapter #007) for numerous years where he met many of his long-time friendships. He founded Lake & Son Renovations where he worked as a contractor. He loved his job and took great pride in his work. Tom was known for being a hard worker, his great sense of humour and the love he had for his family. Special thanks to the entire staff at Juravinski Hospital and Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for the kind care and compassion given to Tom in his final days. Donations can be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Tom's memory. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11am with cremation to follow.
