It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Wayne Boonstra on March 4, 2022, at the age of 64 years. Wayne is survived by his parents Gerrit and Eileen, his wife Ceycey and daughter Tiana, his son Myles (Rozanne), and grandchildren Owen and Asher. He is also survived by his brother Hank.

Wayne was strong in mind and spirit, with a gentle heart toward all those he came to know. He was a passionate motorcycle rider and enjoyed the freedom and thrill of taking to the open road and seeing the world. He started his career at CN Rail, then ventured into business ownership of Black Rose Automotive and later served Standard Aero utilizing his gift for repairing all things mechanical.  Wayne, above all, loved spending time with family.  He delighted in his grandchildren and spent many hours at the Gimli karting racetrack passing down his passion for motor craft and need for speed. His courage, hard work, and wisdom left an indelible mark on his family, friends, and community.

The Boonstra family would like to express our appreciation to family and friends who showed their love and support in our time of grief.
