Skipper Posted December 17, 2018 Share Posted December 17, 2018 We sadly announce the passing of Eric White. Our condolences to his parents and family. Eric was the Childrens Wish child for the CMC Twist Your Wrist ride 2018. A peaceful spirit is no longer with us. We attended the wake for Eric White as a group. We meet at Barrett's Funeral Home at 328 Hamilton Ave at 7.30pm Friday evening. We wore our vest to show who we are. We pleased to say that Eric did have his wish, in just the last few weeks, after many delays because of his health. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Thankyou to all the members able to make the wake for Eric. Many others passed along their sympathies. Speaking with his parents and grand parents was a heart warming experience. His dad spoke about the Children's Wish Foundation trip they had, just a couple of weeks ago from the Twist Your Wrist ride and how much they appreciated what the Children's Wish Foundation and CMC024 had done for them. What a great time they had as a family and the memories they will have the rest of their lives of Eric on the trip. Our hearts went out to the dad and family, as he spoke to us. Beautiful people who loved a beautiful little boy. It really puts life and why we and others work so hard to help others in this way into perspective. This makes a difference in the lives of others and that's what it is all about. To all our CMC members and fellow bike groups/riders/rides, thankyou for what you do every year to help others. ♡ I have attached a picture of Eric with the CMC ride committee and his family on the day of the ride.
