 My name is Lamont French, while the name may not mean anything to you, I am not unlike yourself an passionate motorcycle enthusiast and someone who believes in paying it forward while helping out those less fortunate. 

You will find attached a brief introduction letter and invitation for your group to partake in this our 9th year of riding in support of visually challenged children all across Canada.

 Please take the time to read and forward this letter and the opportunity for your membership to be a part of a supported ride this summer.

On Behalf of Tony Brooks our National Chair and Yves Ouellet, Team BC Lead, it is with great pleasure I wish to invite you to partake in the 9th Annual Military Police National Motorcycle Relay (MPNMR) 2017, which takes place running coast to coast or part thereof, from 30 Jul – 23 Aug 2017.

My name is Lamont French, the current Team BC Ride Captain and past Team BC Lead and National Chair.  I, like yourself am a motorcycle enthusiast as well as a member of both the Veterans NATO/UN group and the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (AB I).

Please accept this open invitation for your group to participate in this annual charity event in support of visually challenged children all over Canada benefiting those from newborn to 21 years of age.  Our charity is called the Military Police Fund for Blind Children (http://mpfbc.com/), CRA #13494-9635-RR0001.   To date and over the past 8 years we have helped raise over $450,000 towards helping these children and bringing attention to our cause.

We are hosting two supported rides this year:

1.      Vancouver Island (Victoria – Comox – Victoria):                    8-9 July 2017; and

2.      National Ride/BC Loop (Victoria – Jasper – Victoria):            30 July – 5 August 2017

*The National Ride leaves Victoria and goes to Gander/St. John’s NL – Info available on the website.

We encourage you to take a moment to see if any of your membership would care to join us on these fully supported ride(s), and if so please get in touch with myself soonest, as there is much administration and logistics for Team BC to take care of.
