In Loving Memory

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Linda Lavigne-Clarke on June 3, 2021 following injuries suffered doing what she loved, riding her motorcycle. With her adoring husband at her bedside, Linda left this Earth peacefully to ride again in the sky.
Linda was an incredibly loving wife to her husband John (Clarke) and a proud and wonderful mother to her children Victoria Stratton, Robert Stratton and Jessica Clarke. Everything she did was in the name of love for her husband and children; life will never be the same without her. Her laugh, her smile, the sparkle in her eye and her insatiable desire for hugs will never be forgotten.
Linda is survived by her mother Juliette, her guiding light; her loving brother Robert (Jennifer) and her three nephews of whom she was so proud, Eric, Marc (Melina) and Adam (Shelby) as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Linda loved to ride and we can all be sure that she will continue riding in heaven as guardian angel for her beloved Litas, CMC 029 and Ottawa Misfits.
The family wishes to extend its most sincere thanks to her motorcycle family and dear friends for all they have done to support John and the children through such a difficult time. Your genuine love for her shines through with the brightest of lights.
Due to Covid restrictions, the visitation at Kelly Funeral Home on Walkley, as well as interment at Hope Cemetery, will be by invitation only on June 11, 2021 from 10:30 am – 2:00 p.m. Linda’s husband and children will host a Celebration of Life later in the year as restrictions lift – details to follow.
The family asks that the motorcycle community please join us, parking is available at Jim Durrell arena, for the procession from the funeral home to the cemetery at 2:30 pm. Please arrive by 2:00 pm for safety instructions and organization. This will be Linda’s last ride as Road Captain, followed by her husband, The Litas, CMC, Ottawa Misfits and riders who knew and loved her.
Charity rides were very dear to Linda’s heart and, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cruise Don’t Bruise, a charity motorcycle ride hosted by the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre. 100% of all donations are used to support and raise awareness for victims of domestic violence: women, children and the elderly.
