THORNTON, Jack Thurlow - Suddenly, on Friday, March 29, 2019, Jack passed away in his 77th year. Best friend & husband of Diane (Murch) for 32 years. Loving father of Jack Jr. (Ruth), Perry (Lori), Scott (Joelle), Mark (Laurie) and step-father of Terry (Heidi) Hardwick & the late James Hardwick. Cherished grandfather of Cody, Colton, Chasen, Nash, Zoe, Curtis, Courtney, Cassandra (deceased), Melissa, Trevor, Brett, Clayton & Hunter. Dear brother of Wayne (Mary), Martin (Bonnie), Terry & Linda (deceased). Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Jack will be missed by his Aunt Daisy Thornton & her family. Predeceased by his parents Cliff & Iolene Thornton. Jack was a longtime employee of Lawson & Jones (SPG) and had a love for motorcycles and classic cars. As per Jack's wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2001 Dundas St. E., on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. LOGAN FUNERAL HOME , 371 Dundas St., (519) 433-6181, entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca A tree will be planted, by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Jack Thornton.
