SCOTTIE, Wayne - passed away peacefully surrounded by love, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Brantford General Hospital. He was in his 67th year. Wayne will be missed and always loved by his wife Roberta (née Fletcher). Deeply loved by his children Sean (Lisa Dennis) and Nicole Scottie (Mike Travale). Special grandpa (aka Gpa) to Devon Scottie, Jaylee Hall, Grayson & Taylor Travale and Brinley Dennis. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Debbie Scottie, Sue (Larry) Stevens and Noreen Fletcher and his many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his brother and best friend Dennis Scottie (2015) and by his mother Marie Scottie. Family and friends will be received at the CHARING CROSS RECEPTION SUITES , 63 Charing Cross Street, Brantford (BESIDE THE DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME) on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House, would be greatly appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca
