Beloved partner and best friend of Laurie Virtue and her son Chad. Loved son of Mayke Carlson, Clarence DeVries and his wife Ann. Dear brother of Wally and Paul DeVries. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Andy (1965) and son Kyle (2005). Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 139 Talbot St. E., Jarvis, Ont. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow in the church hall. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
