Funeral Arrangements For Barry Wood - 074 Chatham

The funeral will be at Alexander’s Funeral Home 245 Wellington St. W. Chatham.

Visitation times are:
This Tuesday 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm
 

Visitation on Wednesday will be from:
12:30pm to 1:30pm

The funeral service will start at 1:30pm. After the service we will be going to the Maple Leaf cemetery.

After the service at the cemetery the family would like everyone to join them at the Moose Lodge 1692, 850 Richmond St. Chatham Ont.

Mr. Barry Wood
At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday November 14th, 2014 Mr. Barry Wood of Chatham in his 47th year.  Cherished son of Lloyd and Donna (Longmore) Wood.  Beloved husband of Tasha Verkaik.  Loving father of Anne Marie (Jason) Long, James (Tonya) Walker, Jessica Wood and by their mother, Marybeth Allison, all of Chatham, and his step children Carissa Verkaik, Melissa Verkaik, Jesse Charlcraft, Caitlin Charlcraft, and Dawson Charlcraft, all of Chatham.  He will be lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren.  Dear brother of Brent (Dawnmarie) Wood of Chatham.  He is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and  cousins.   Predeceased by his brother Brian.  Barry was an owner operator of Produce Xpress trucking of Ruthven.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Tuesday November 18th visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday November 19th at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul McPhail officiating.  Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery.  Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider a charity of their choice
