Still here

I am still here, looking out the window. Not much to say these days as work is beating us really bad. Long ungrateful hours just so someone else can take the credit and look good. You know the story. But hey - I'm working.

I will kick back into full gear later this month when these projects are put to bed and I have time to breathe and look out the window and let my hair down (oh wait - I have no hair, maybe that is the problem :) )

See ya later this month folks

General Amalgamated Industries, feeling it was time for a shakeup, hired a new CEO. The new boss was determined to rid the company of all slackers. On a tour of the facilities, the CEO noticed a guy leaning against a wall. The room was full of workers and he wanted to let them know that he meant business. He asked the guy, "How much money do you make a week?" A little surprised, the young man looked at him and said, "I make $400 a week. Why?" The CEO said, "Wait right here."
He walked back to his office, came back in two minutes, and handed the guy $1,600 in cash and said, "Here's four weeks' pay. Now GET OUT and don't come back." Feeling pretty good about himself the CEO looked around the room and asked, "Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-ball did here?"

From across the room a voice said, "Pizza delivery guy from Domino's."

Yes, John (jayhawkr) and I are still watching and waiting also.....

The lane way to the shed is almost clear, and today, if it gets above 0', we will break up the remaining snow in a vain effort to get it to melt.

However, the 6' pile of snow at the end of the lane is a big challenge. :'(  Next year, I will get the snow plow to move it somewhere else.

Work is insane for both of us, but we are hoping to do more short trips this year - long ones seem harder to manage.  Some day!
